I had the Megazord and Titanus featured in the second and third ads. And the Thunder Zord featured in the second Power Rangers series. And I used to tell people all about it a lot like this guy.
In my day, Megazords fetched over $60 retail. According to the Rangercollector22, the original Megazord is over $200 on Amazon.com.
Once, one of my parents’ friends put the Megazord’s Power Sword in the dishwasher while we were cleaning up after a party. Most of the silver paint came off.
When I was starting to grow out of the Power Rangers, I gave them all to the son of a cleaning lady my parents hired once a month or so. After we gave her the toys, we never heard from her again.*
